Six miles easy from FH Sbux up through the U of U.  Took a detour onto the U track and jogged 300m before running a single 800m interval, 2:43.  This felt fine, but I don't necessarily think I could have held pace for a mile -- perhaps.  I mention this because four years ago, on the Tuesday prior to running my last St. George, I ran two miles on the track, 5:18 and 5:21 and recall being totally unphased by the effort.  Well, it's not 2008 that's for sure!  My training in 2012 is what it is; incomplete but sufficient to try to test myself nevertheless.  It can only be for the fun of it; there are no other stakes for me.

Get one under the belt and then move one. So far things seem to be coming along and your mileage has been good. Looking forward to reading about the result.
