Workout with the Black Sheep at East High. After the warm up we did some drills: skips, knees, & butt kicks, then an 800 m of speed changes. The workout consisted of 4 x 400, 4 x 800, 4 x 400. Times were unspectacular in the first set of 400s: 89, 87, 86, 86. The 800s were 2:51, 2:49; 2:46; 2:43. The last set of 800s: 81,81,81, 72. I could have (and should have) run the last set of 400s sub 80--I clearly had the energy to do it. Then we ran a bit of cooldown. |
